Circle of Friends FAQs

The best way to join is through our iPhone app or Android app! If you do not have a phone, you can join through our website here.

Yes! You get a free Guacamole or Queso when you sign up or when you migrate from our previous loyalty program.

• You earn one point per dollar spent, and can redeem for rewards:
  • 80 pts = $5 reward
  • 150 pts = $10 reward
  • 300 pts = $25 reward
• You earn $10 off for your birthday each year
• You can earn 50 bonus points for every friend you refer

Earning points is the best way to maximize your rewards, however you will still earn a free Guacamole or Queso on signup and $10 off for your birthday each year. We may also provide other rewards from time to time.

Yes! You will earn 50 points when your friend uses your invite code during signup and
makes their first purchase. 

• To invite a friend: In your app, go to “More” at the bottom right, and then tap “Invite Friends”.
You will see a code that you can copy or share.  
• To join with an invite code: When your friend signs up, they should put your code into the
“Invite Code” field.

We encourage you to use our app for the best experience. If you don’t want to install the app,
you may still use most functionality here.

No! You no longer need your Circle of Friends card. We recommend that you sign up in the app and share the QR code with your server to earn points. You may also earn by providing your phone number. 

You no longer need a physical card! You can migrate to our new loyalty program here.
If you know your card number, you can put it in to ensure all of your rewards and points are migrated to your new loyalty account. Once you have migrated, you can earn and redeem using the app or your phone number.

Yes! Tap the “Eat” button and then choose a location.

You can redeem rewards & earn points on app orders at participating locations. At this point, all locations are participating except for those located in Pennsylvania, as well as Orono and Ellsworth in Maine.

If you were not able to earn points when placing your order, you may be able to earn points if your order is delivered with a receipt that has a QR code at the bottom.

You can earn your points a few ways:

• When dining in our restaurants, share your App’s QR code or your phone number with your server
• If you have any trouble with earning at the restaurant, you can use your app to scan the QR code at the bottom of your receipt
• At participating locations (All excluding Pennsylvania, Ellsworth, and Orono), you may earn points for orders online and through the app

In your app, you will see your points balance on the Rewards tab. If you don’t have the app,
you can check your point balance here.

Yes! You may scan receipts into the app dated after June 26, 2022, as long as they are
less than 90 days old.

Yes, points will expire after 365 days since your last check-in.

You have 90 days to scan a receipt and earn points. We may reduce this time threshold at any time. 

We limit the number of receipts that can be scanned at once to prevent fraud. If you have trouble, you may always reach out to appsupport@margs.com for assistance. 

You may be able to earn points on these orders in select circumstances. If your order is
delivered with a receipt containing a QR code at the bottom, you can scan this into the app to
earn points on that order. 

Yes! Once you join the Circle of Friends program, you may scan receipts dated after June 26, 2022, as long as they are less than 90 days old.

These rewards are valid on any items other than gift cards and beverages containing alcohol. 

You may only use one Circle of Friends reward per check. 

This is typically not permitted, but there may be certain situations where it is allowed. Please check the terms of your coupon for details. 

Yes! Please be sure to migrate your account (see the next question) to ensure that your points and rewards are migrated. 

When you install the app, you will be given the option to migrate. If you don’t want to download the app, you can migrate through our website here. 
Your phone number and email are required for migration. Your Circle of Friends number is optional, but can help ensure that the right information is migrated if your phone or email don’t match an existing account. 

Please reach out to appsupport@margs.com with your name, email, and phone number, and we will try to locate your account. In the meantime, be sure to save your receipts so that you can earn points on orders after you’ve left the restaurant.
